Overview
A special, highly discounted safari that allows you to view the Great annual Mara migration in Kenya. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture crossing into Kenya. The ideal time to witness this phenomenon in Kenya is in August of every year.
Day 1:
Nairobi - Amboseli
0700hrs, after the tour briefing, you will depart for Amboseli National park. Drive via Namanga at the Kenya- Tanzania border to Amboseli National Park.
Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Ol Tukai Lodge.
Day 2:
Amboseli Game viewing.
0600hrs, start with an early morning game drive in the Amboseli National Park. You will return to the lodge at 0830hrs for late breakfast. Later spend the rest of the morning at leisure. Enjoy Amboseli Swimming pool or do an optional Nature walk at a small fee. At 1600hrs, you will have an afternoon game drive till dusk.
Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest – whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. Other residents of the Amboseli include: buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals.

Day 3:
Amboseli - Lake Nakuru.
0700 Hrs. Check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National park. En route pick up you will have a stop for some hot lunch. You will have an evening game drive in Lake Nakuru National park for game drive until sunset when you will check in at your lodge for the night.
Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species – particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

Day 4:
Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara.
At 0800hrs, drive to via the Great Rift Valley ridge of Mau summit to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for an afternoon game drive en route to your overnight camp. Lunch will be packed lunch boxes en route.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals are recorded here. Some of the famous ones include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 5 & 6:
Maasai Mara.
You will have two full days in Masai Mara with morning and evening game drive or an option of full day game viewing in greater Mara. The great migration experience can be spent all day at the river side watching the migration or in the plains following the greatest show as predators have a field day.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Ashnil Camp.
Day 7:
Depart for Nairobi
0730 Hrs- Check out and drive to Nairobi to arrive mid-day. On this days farewell, Lunch will be provided at a restaurant of choice before transfer to your hotel or Airport for your onward travel.
